I would say to get what you feel comfortable with. I wouldn't suggest someone buying something say like a ZX-14, but if that's what you want, then get it. Just be aware of what you have. I love my Yamaha R6... But would love to have an R1 soon =)Posted 08-29-2010 at 11:54 AM by Shannon

I don't know I haven't got my ML yet.
I've heard it both ways though.
My ex bf recommended I start out with a Vespa scooter and work my way up. NOT!
I want a Honda Shadow or maybe a Harley Softail. I chat with a guy who builds custom choppers and he says there is no such thing as a starter bike. Since I'm inclined to like a bigger bike with lots of chrome that's what my starter bike will be.
